Campuses

Campuses & development opportunities.

BICC evaluates development opportunities for their industrial suitability, land-use conditions, infrastructure access, resource availability and commercial requirements.

01 Where we're looking

Strategic regions across the U.S.

BICC is evaluating campus opportunities in White City, Phoenix and Roseburg, Oregon, and tracking strategic regions across the country. The map below sets those locations alongside publicly documented data center projects, state energy demand and grid infrastructure. Each campus is at an early stage; no site-specific capacities, partners or schedules are published.

BICC campuses Layer 1

Regions are grouped by the publicly reported condition behind each one:

Data center infrastructure Layer 2

The curated layer is a selection of publicly documented projects, each with its source, date and confidence. It is not a complete inventory. OpenStreetMap points are community-mapped and unverified.

Energy demand & infrastructure Layer 3

Focus

Data center statuses reflect the cited public source on its stated date. Energy figures are annual and state-level unless noted; forecasts and the opportunity screen are labeled as such. Nothing on this map represents available grid capacity at a specific location, and a facility appearing here does not indicate any relationship with BICC.

Every layer, its publisher, its date and what kind of information it is.

02 How sites are evaluated

What makes a campus viable.

01

Industrial suitability

Whether the land and its setting can support the intended industrial uses.

02

Land-use conditions

Zoning, land-use designations and the approvals a project would require.

03

Infrastructure access

Access to power, water, wastewater and transportation, and what must be added.

04

Resource availability

Water source, treatment and reuse options that suit the expected demand.

05

Commercial requirements

Customer needs, offtake and the commercial structure that fits the project.
